Essie Gel Couture range, which launched successfully last year, is bringing us a new collection of six magnificently neutral, long wearing creme nudes, this January. With shades named aptly for the ‘Gel Couture Ballet Nudes collection’ ranging from a misty rose pink, to a soft shimmering grey.
We took the chance to wear all five (out of six) of the shades shown, altogether to get the most from the pastel delights, and giving us a potential outfit matching shade on at least on nail per hand!
Satin Slipper:a feminine silky champagne ivory. Lace Me Up: A misty rose pink. Hold the position: A fierce Coral rose pink. At the Barre: Soft Cinnamon Nude (not worn), Perfect Posture: A Periwinkle Powder Blue & Closing Night: A soft shimmery grey.
Satin Slipper, is one of our faves, Its a great soft colour to wear, all year round, and especially now, as we endure the chilly cold into the early spring, giving a rest too from the party glitters and Christmas reds! Plus we are huge fans of the coral – Hold the Position, and the Periwinkle – Perfect Posture. We only need to add a couple of colour coats, and one top coat, and this beautiful collection lasts easily for a week, with no UV or LED curing, no chips and glamorously glossy nails. (Plus, you can remove them with normal polish remover, no fuss, no stain, On Pointe nails.
Available instore and online at Boots & Superdrug from Friday, 20th January 2017.
