We are forever dreaming of a foundation that matches this ever so pinky pale skin that we have forever lived with… and we seem to be getting closer to the actual match day by day!
We tried out Rouge Bunny Rouge Milk Aquaelle Liquid Foundation, £46.40 (53 Euros) a delightfully light gel foundation which sweeps on evenly, going far for only a little touch of liquid. Here we tried out their lightest shade, Coconut milk parfait – a milky-pale pink beige shade. Applied with the brands Aqua Primer,
£46.40 (53 Euros) which contains a plethora of active ingredients to aid cell tissue regeneration, smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, provides intensive hydration, firming and smoothing; and it’s anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory! This is a miracle in a bottle, giving a fabulous canvas to apply foundation to!
Between the pair, the foundation stayed on all day, and felt ever so lightweight throughout. We found a little oxidisation occurring when we didn’t user a primer with our face oils though, but we just beat this with a good pre-cleanse and with this shade no blending near the forehead as it gets too dark for us! (Forehead is super pale!) But over all a fantastic foundation, that’s well worth the money!

Day in day out we wear liner, generally black, and we hope to get a good baby flick at the end… if this happens… Hooray!!! I’m sure like all of you – it doesn’t always happen that simply!
Now we usually don’t stray from black liner but we were really intrigued by Rouge Bunny Rouge and their Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner in ‘Tanzanite Essence’. This is a gorgeous bluey lavender shade alike the gemstone – Google it! Its rarer than a diamond and we’re obsessed!
This liner is metallic and has a shimmer – just like you’d get with a stone! The application is ever so easy with a sponge tipped wand and it glides straight on with no need for extra lining for colour depth! We’d love it to be waterproof, that’s our only wish for this – and for it to be available as an eyeshadow too!
It’s going to be out big wear for the spring. Pastel perfect and subtle (sort of) but perfect for day to day wear, meaning you can transform your day makeup to a nice evening smoky look maybe by creating an ombre liner (Tanzanite to black) into a blue smoked eye! *WHY DID’NT I THINK OF THIS BEFORE*
