Let’s travel back in time and share a laugh with The Flash…

The Flash played by Ezra Miller

Goosebumps galore, laughter and tears… be prepared for a rollercoaster ride and plenty of surprises from Warner Bros. Pictures “The Flash,” directed by Andy Muschietti

We see Ezra Miller reprising their role as Barry Allen in the DC Super Hero’s first-ever standalone feature film. Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The film was truly an amazing watch and had us laughing from start to finish. The endless surprises (I cannot spoil them because y’know it wouldn’t land any where near as well if you know!) made for great moments of humour and nods to the past and present of DC.

Be prepared to live the ups and downs of Barry Allen’s heartbreaking story… and welcome him open armed to the future of DC. Thank you Warner Bros… **Press Invite**

But for now kids… I’m Batman 🦇

Let’s settle the score… it’s time for Creed III

Michael B Jordan returns as director and Adonis Creed

You can’t run from your past, but you should be running to the cinema this weekend, for the next installment of Creed. From Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures comes Creed III, with Michael B. Jordan making his directorial debut and returning in the role of Adonis Creed in the third installment of the hit franchise.

After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, (with a huge chip on his shoulder, believing his friend had taken his place in life) he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring; and that Heavyweight Champion of the world should be his. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian a fighter who has nothing to lose.

Now this may be the mum in me, but I have to applaud the focus and light that is given to Bianca and Amara (Mila Kent) and how the film is bringing loss of hearing and or deafness to the forefront of peoples minds and onto the big screen. This making children in the same situation feel like they are represented, so I sit back and applaud!

It’s great to feel every moment, and emotion throughout the film, from the sheer love between the family and Adonis’ protection for his mumma; to hatred and jealously from former friends.

Michael B Jordan stars alongside Jonathan Majors

The film also stars Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Florian Munteanu, newcomer Mila Kent, and Phylicia Rashad.

Head down to your local cinema today, and step your foot into the Creed ring! In cinemas from 3rd March 2023
