Introducing the new capsule collection for bumps babies and beyond from @petitjovial … Handmade in England this set is 100% vegan, and has been a gorgeous gift for little George!
Our fave from the set at the moment is the nourishing balm, made with Shea, rosehip oil, lavender and chamomile… it works wonders on sore teething bums (George had this so badly during a few days of teething, his poor bum went dry and patchy red – so I thought we’d give the balm a go and overnight the thinnest little slither cleated up his soreness and made for a super happy baby!), and is the perfect moisturiser for baby and mum!
The Petit Jovial Collection:
Body & Scalp Massage Oil, £22
This gentle blend of 100% natural oils is formulated with Safflower, Sesame, Jojoba and Wheatgerm Oils. The pure blend helps to soothe your baby when massaged gently unto their skin, which can benefit their digestion, ease wind, and strengthen the bonding process between you.
It is equally as effective as a scalp oil to help ease cradle cap, and as a moisturising body oil for all ages. It also works wonders on stretchmarks, to keep the skin elastic during pregnancy.
Nourishing Bath Oil, £23
This lightly moisturising 100% natural bath oil is made with skin-loving Sunflower oil, relaxing lavender, Geranium and Clary Sage to help soothe and relax your baby, as well as the rest of the family. The Bath Oil nourishes delicate skin as it gently cleanses, leaving skin feeling soft and loved. You can also apply the oil post-soak directly onto the skin, to lock in moisture.
Nourishing Multi-Purpose Balm for Face & Body, £25
A luxurious multi-purpose, rich balm made with 100% natural butters – Shea Butter, Rosehip Oil, soothing Lavender and Calming Chamomile. The balm is the perfect barrier for sensitive bottoms, to soothe nappy rash and to moisturise and dry areas.
It also works wonders for breastfeeding Mothers, as a nipple balm to soothe cracked and painful nipples, and to nourish dry cuticles and lips. It can also be used as a cleaning balm. This nappy, and beauty bag essential is a true versatile essential for any new, or experienced parent.

More about Petit Jovial…
After the birth of her son, Petit Jovial’s founder, Tania Veignat was inspired to create a pure and natural skincare line for babies. She couldn’t find anything gentle enough for his sensitive skin where she lives in Paris, and decided to make her own, and so Petit Jovial was born.
Founder Tania Veignat says: “When my son was born, I scrutinised every label to check the ingredients, a habit I have since I am a chemist. I found that some products had secret ingredients that I wouldn’t want to put on my own skin, let alone my son’s precious skin. So, I founded Petit Jovial, with a focus on natural ingredients. As a certified natural skincare formulator, and with a degree in Chemistry, I want Petit Jovial to become the trusted natural skincare destination for your family. Our products care for you baby, children and yourself in a kind, gently way.”
Committed to environmental issues, Petit Jovial have chosen to bottle their skincare in MIRON violet glass jars and bottles. This specially designed dark purple glass helps to keep products fresher for longer, by shielding the contents from UV light. It’s the perfect packaging for natural skincare, as it preserves the freshness, without needing to use chemical additives. They are recyclable too, and to help minimise the impact on the planet.
As part of their commitment to people and planet, Petit Jovial donate to charities working on orang-utan conservation projects in Indonesia. Deforestation is devastating Indonesia, removing the orangutans’ natural habitat, putting them on the ‘Critically Endangered’ list, with only around 14,000 Sumatran orang-utans, and 104,000 Bornean orang-utans left in the wild*. This is a cause close to founder Tania’s heart, as her late dad was Indonesian, and she spent much of her childhood there.
